You will always live happy if you live with heart

Natalie introduced Rachel to Ceremonial Cacao whilst chatting about their love for Breathwork. Natalie found that Cacao had been a wonderful addition to her healing practice and kindly shared this with Rachel, offering her a gift of Ceremonial cacao on meeting. This brought about a profoundly positive change within Rachel.
Cacao is a very gentle and nurturing plant medicine which works perfectly with or outside of Breathwork.

When you are in balance, you are in flow

Natalie became familiar with Breathwork several years ago. She loved the idea of using the breath to release suppressed emotion and anything trapped in the body that no longer served her. Rachel discovered Breathwork more recently, being introduced to this wonderful technique through a dear friend whilst living in London. It was the perfect tonic to her fast paced and stressful working life, which was craving balance and harmony.

About
Breathwork

The term “Breath work” covers many different styles of breathing practices - Somatic, Shamanic, Conscious-connected, Transformational and Neurodynamic to name just a few. The different techniques are similar in that they encourage the individual to become aware and focus on the Breath. Pranayama is believed to be the original breathwork. The Sanskrit word Pranayama comes from ‘Prana’-life energy and ‘Ayama’ -to extend. The practice of Pranayama dates back over 5000 years to ancient India and the origins of yoga.

Drink to feel Happy

Regularly drinking Ceremonial cacao brings many therapeutic benefits, particularly to your mood. By creating new neural pathways within our brain, Cacao allows us to feel more bliss, joy, and happiness. Cacao contains beneficial neurotransmitters and neuromodulators already present in our brain including:
Norepinephrine - The joy molecule
Serotonin - Helps with wellbeing and creates resistance to stress.
Dopamine - Gives feelings of motivation and pleasure.
Anandamine - The bliss molecule, it moderates pain, and is associated with the "runners high" effect.
Phenylethylamine (PEA) - Helps with excitement, alertness, attention.

Drinking Ceremonial cacao regularly can replenish minerals vital to our body. Magnesium is used in all key brain functions, especially memory and concentration. Cacao is the highest naturally occurring source of Magnesium and chromium. It also contains high levels of copper, calcium, manganese, zinc, sulfur, iron, and phosphorous.
Theobromine is a cardiac stimulant, as opposed to caffeine which is a nervous system stimulant. Theobromine along with Magnesium relaxes our blood vessels, which in turn produces 30-40% higher blood circulation. An increase in blood flow, combined with the nutrients found in Cacao lead to higher levels of Energy, Focus and Concentration.

The History of Cacao

Botanical evidence shows that the cacao tree was first grown for food more than 5,000 years ago in the Amazon rainforest. The cacao tree is a small evergreen tree native to the deep tropical regions of Mesoamerica. Its seeds are contained within the fruit known as a “cacao pod”.

The Olmecs living in Mexico and Guatemala established their first cacao plantations around 400 BC. By 250 AD the Mayans depicted cacao in their elaborate hieroglyphic writings and on carvings and paintings. Residues found on ancient pottery suggest cacao was used as a food, drink, or medicine by the indigenous people of Mesoamerica.

Historical accounts also point to the widespread use of Cacao in Maya and Aztec engagement and marriage ceremonies. In this respect Cacao occupied the same niche that expensive French wines and champagne do in European culture today.

There has been a renaissance around Cacao recently, more specifically Ceremonial Cacao. With its nutritional and heart opening properties, people are being drawn to the Spirit of Ceremonial Cacao to reconnect with their true selves.
